International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
At Mortgage 1st we are committed to encouraging, supporting and championing women in the Financial Services industry.
We constantly strive for an equal and diverse team with women represented in all roles across all departments.

Operations Directors Lisa Stones was invited to join a Women’s Key Partner Forum hosted by Legal & General Mortgage Club in celebration of International Woman’s day. The group consisted of business leaders and senior figures from across the industry.
As women in senior roles across the industry without even realising we are inspiring and motivating the next generation of women. After chatting over lunch it became apparent that many of the woman around the table actually fell into the financial services industry, how amazing would it be if we can inspire young women to actively choose to join the sector as they can see the opportunities available to them.
