We are Jon & Lisa Stones, a husband & wife team and we absolutely love what we do!

Jon launched Mortgage 1st in 2008 and for the first 5 years ran the business as a single broker firm. The team began to grow in 2013 with the appointment of our first 3 Advisers and since then we have continued to grow every department year on year.

Our team continues to grow enabling us to offer Mortgage & Protection Advice to more and more customers across the UK, ensuring they have quality professional advice available to them.

But no matter how large we grow over the coming years, at our core we will always remain a family run business.

Relationships are key, whether that be the relationships we have with our customers, our team members or our industry partners. Mutual respect and kindness goes such a long way.
